Social Psychology with Jeff

Ideas about Methodology, Statistics, Social Psychology, and Behavioral Science

Welcome!

Hi! My name is Jeff Ramdass, and I am a Basic and Applied Social Psychologist. I investigate how a person’s social identities affect how they view their world and behave in their social environments. I received my PhD in Social Psychology from Claremont Graduate University and currently consult for academic and non-academic research projects in the social and behavioral sciences.

I am interested in how researchers, organizations, and groups can:

  1. Investigate the influence of social identification, self- and social-categorization, and self-construals on a person’s thoughts and behaviors,
  2. Collect better mixed-methods data, and
  3. Identify and share meaningful insights from quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research.

I can help researchers and organizations design meaningful research, analyze new or existing data, and identify key insights and implications. Highlights include:

  1. Helping organizations identify practical or theoretical research needs.
  2. Designing social and behavioral research studies using quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research methods and analyses.
  3. Identifying insights from new or previously collected data.
  4. Troubleshooting theoretical, methodological, and statistical issues relating to research design, data collection, or data analysis.
  5. Explaining data analyses and insights to key stakeholders with technical and nontechnical backgrounds.
