Hi! My name is Jeff Ramdass, and I am a Basic and Applied Social Psychologist. I investigate how a person’s social identities affect how they view their world and behave in their social environments. I received my PhD in Social Psychology from Claremont Graduate University and currently consult for academic and non-academic research projects in the social and behavioral sciences.
I am interested in how researchers, organizations, and groups can:
- Investigate the influence of social identification, self- and social-categorization, and self-construals on a person’s thoughts and behaviors,
- Collect better mixed-methods data, and
- Identify and share meaningful insights from quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research.
I can help researchers and organizations design meaningful research, analyze new or existing data, and identify key insights and implications. Highlights include:
- Helping organizations identify practical or theoretical research needs.
- Designing social and behavioral research studies using quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research methods and analyses.
- Identifying insights from new or previously collected data.
- Troubleshooting theoretical, methodological, and statistical issues relating to research design, data collection, or data analysis.
- Explaining data analyses and insights to key stakeholders with technical and nontechnical backgrounds.
